AMD, GE and SLB

An interesting day, options expiration so lots of funky action going around. I was in 3 stocks: Long AMD and GE and short SLB. AMD and GE didn’t work but SLB did crack down, I took some partial profit and tightened my stop. Unfortunately SLB reversed all the way back and a couple of R’s in open profit disappeared which means I ended up the day at breakeven.

On the positive side, I made less mistakes today and was able to concentrate better, despite being a bit ill. Takes a while to get back on track but today feels a lot better and “normal” as opposed to the mess I made earlier in the week. For those reading and are concerned (you know who you are ;-) ), don’t worry, I’m not jumping out the window :-) 1 week of not being on top of my game doesn’t wipe out years of trading, not in skills and capability nor in money.

A good weekend to all, time to get some rest and chill out.
