That was a short day, I was just stopped out for BE minus commission. The stock did indeed explode, but IB did a very nice job on the execution and I had no slippage.
I’m glad you weren’t hurt on this one… I just finished blogging that drop. I bet plenty of market orders had some serious slippage on that drop!
I guess the headline on whatever the news was sounded scarier than it should have, since it looks like the stock has recovered now.
Interesting.
I actually had a stop-market order with double print trigger and was stopped out on several partial fills with sill no slippage. That’s why I love IB :-)
