Best and worst performing stock

These are the best and worst performing stocks in my portfolio. I’m still long ITG and JOYG has stopped out after a gap (ouch). Both charts shown are Weekly charts.

ITG has been treating me well, the good thing was giving it some room over the past month to wiggle around as the market went down pretty hard for a few days.

ITG Long

JOYG in retrospect:
I probably should have waited for the price to retrace more.
The stock was already quite stretched.

Nice entry and hold on ITG.I assume you have a stop in place on ITG to protect those profits, just curious as to where that would be? Nice trade :-)

That’s a good question, I haven’t figured out yet where the stop will be for this week :) I typically trail at swing lows / previous week or two weeks low etc. but following the last strong up bar I’d be cautious for two reasons:
    1. It could be short/mid term extended and experience a nasty pullback.
    2. The previous lows/swing points are far away from current price and would leave too much on the table.

So, where will the stop be? Maybe I’ll split it into two, half position tighter and half at looser stop.

That was a very Democratic answer, but sounds like you have a plan. :-)Taking half tighter makes since.

    Cheers :-)
