Best day $ (take 2)

Broke the personal record set earlier this week and put in another best day $ wise and I think in terms of R too.
I started Friday with the specific intention of not doing anything, particularly not on the PC. I picked up a Robert Lodllum book I never got to finish and planted myself in the sofa for most of the day. Had a short break to cook some Tom Yum soup for lunch + dinner and checked email a couple of times (couldn’t completely avoid it :-)) but other than that I got a good rest arriving at the screen before the open feeling a bit better compared to yesterday. I wasn’t sure I was going to trade depending on how I feel when things start spinning. I usually have a feel for whether I’m in-tune with the market or playing catch-up. Things felt OK though and through a conscious effort to focus I generally traded well. Which of course has little, as in a small part, to do with the day’s result. Aside from not making mistakes and being in-tune/fast enough, it was just a nicely cooperative market and some luck.
As I mentioned before the current volatility and market conditions have been pretty good on several days this month. It’s easy to fall into feeling like a hero when you get great results but it’s a fallacy. Just like a few bad days don’t make you a zero. I am going to put in more effort at getting mental rest periodically, it pays.

awesome – nice job!
Cheers, I saw your ATS did very nicely as well this week. Good stuff.
