I just noticed this news: Celebrity market guru arrested on Elitetrader. I don’t really know much about Larry Williams (maybe I should?) other than hearing about his books and live demonstration. In any case this has caught my eye more than anything else:
The Virgin Islands resident is alleged to have “wilfully and affirmatively” attempted to evade paying taxes on royalties from his 10 books and earnings from the international speaking circuit.
Hmm what about that supposed trading income?

One of Australia’s laws.
In New South Wales the bail sponsor must be:
1. Be not the person held…. ie NOT Larry Williams
and a number of other conditions.
Be very careful about believing the sludge that it served up to us in the mass media, this particular case has an encyclopedia of untruths and innuendo being written about it.
Hmmm..
Misread your post!
Not aware of any of the details of the tax case, simply that it shows the power of the IRS I believe, Larry could hardly be classified as a flight risk though I really don’t know the details.
I am very curious as to more details pertaining to the case, but the conclusions certain high profile media commentators in Australia have jumped to just astounds me.
Andrew.
I’d just like to know what exactly makes andrew think lw could hardly be classified as a flight risk?
