Even Warren Buffet.. big time. Whenever I read about this sort of things it reminds me of other huge losses like that of Nick Leeson in Japan, George Soros in Russia and HK, LTCM etc. and I’m wondering where did that money end up, who was on the other side that benefited from this massive amount of dollars transferring to new hands.. (and why can’t that be me.. lol).
Weekend WSJ had major front page story on Buffet and nary a mention of this loss. His bet against the dollar seemed to have something to do with his Soros like hatred of US for policy. Wonder how much Soros lost?
