Well not quite but close. My landlord has just told me on Sunday that they’re selling the house as they’re moving to another city. So now I have 1 month to find a new place. That’s not very good news since it is very difficult to find a place in Wellington which allows dogs (I have a 3 year old yellow Lab). I got the newspaper yesterday and called about 15 places or so but they were either already taken, did not allow pets or did not answer the call. So the impact is:
Lots of phone calls and driving around to find a new place
It comes at a time when I’m extremely busy at work
I have to do lots of packing
Changing addresses on all sorts of mail
Finding a reasonable mover
Finally, this will no doubt involve trading down time

PLease also make sure you don’t use the same moving company you used last time, otherwise your couch may end up in Kandahar.

LOL, yeah it would be a problem if all my stuff got stuck for months while moving 20km down the road somewhere :)
