Nice work by Google, not only is there a new feature to apply themes but they also released plenty of really nice looking ones from day one. Neat. Now we need want the same for the Reader.
P.S. wow what a massive down trend yesterday, one of those days you wish you have taken more trades and on larger size. Still, can’t complain, at least it was an easy day.
Have you played with the themes much yet? Some like “Tree” seem to change depending on your weather. Kind of fun and clever, wonder what other tricks they’ve got.
Yes I love the new themes I was testing them all. I noticed changes based on time of day. Really nice. I’m now mostly on the Mountains one. The Pebbles, Shiny and Night Shade are also cool. Which one did you set?
I’ve been playing with the mountains theme. In another life I used to be a rock climber and I still love hiking so I’m trying to identify all of the different mountain ranges on display :)
Apart from that, my favourite is the Tree theme. It’s easy to read the text and over the day the weather changes. It’s gimmicky but fun.
I used to be into hiking as well, went on a couple of long trekking trips to the himalayas earlier this decade.
Gimmicky but I hope they’ll make them available in the reader and calendar as well :-)
