I’ve taken the personality test, again, this time prompted by a friend who is trying to figure out who she is. Anyways, not surprisingly the result of the test was that I’m type ISTJ. I wonder what other traders out there are.. if you take the test it would be nice if you could post your type in the comments :)

Cool :-) I wonder what’s common amongst short term traders.
I’m a hardcore INTP. I don’t think trading works well for E’s, and I’d be surprised to find a lot of F’s.
The description of ISTJ says that they excel at carrying out fixed plans. Is that right? That sounds like it would sure come in handy. I have created a lot of programs to make sure I stick to even the trivial things since I will inevitably slip :)
I am INTP. Apparently hard core like Tyro…lol.
INTJ. Just to mix it up a little.
sometimes I wonder, “excel in carrying out fixed plans” implies, lack of creativity and flexibility? ;)
:-) for me, kind of yes.. I’ve always felt I’m not being creative enough. In the trading space it’s taken me over a year to really add creativity to the dummy style. Initially I just tried to internalize and execute it the best I can.

Apparently, I need to quit investing, and take up skydiving.
I bet your IST part is what makes your investing work ;-) or maybe you can find a way to invest while skydiving? lol
