Itchy fingers but no action yet

This has been one of my longest vacations ever. Combining traveling with holidays season meant no trades for quite some time. I’m quite eager to get back in the game but I’ll wait till conditions are right. So I was just watching the market action today. Going through the routine “on dry”. There wasn’t anything I would traded anyway even if I were fully on. The volume in the morning still seemed light and the market flipping to the downside would have killed any long attempts.
On the personal side of things I’ve been watching lots of movies lately, will probably do a post about it. After a few disappointing recent movies I’ve switched to some oldies just for a change of topics, rythm and cinematic style. More tomorrow.

Happy new year Eyal.
I find it interesting how we assign so much more importance to what appears to be current films, books etc, when there is endless gold to be mined from the archives (classic books, films etc). A kind of cultural short-termism, perhaps.
Excellent point!
Same goes for blogs, I read 100′s of new posts each day but recently realized I would be better served going through the archives of a few of the best blogs.
Biasing our information take to the immediate is obviously a very human thing, the newsagency is always more popular than the library. Reverse that formula for wisdom accumulation.
Hey Caravaggio, I think it’s a sign of youth and new generations. Discrediting or re-inventing the past to gain a sense of importance for our own current being.
Andrew – I know exactly what you mean about the new blog posts, I thought it was my secret, sshhhh don’t tell the others ;-)
