Jaiku has been having lots of issues today. Hopefully it won’t follow in twitter’s footsteps and bocome unusuable for prolonged periods of time due to heavy load. Maybe the whole technical premise behind such a service, almost like a web based chat, isn’t very sound and can’t be done with “reasonable” technology available today.
Anyway, it’s pretty messy tone out there today. Markets opened up, sold off sharply and then rallied. I’ve got 3 positions on with only one in the clear on the risk side. So still quite a bit of exposure. We’ll see how things close. At the moment I’m in a bit of a slump and have given back all of this month’s profits over the last week and half, so back to zero, as of now, for April.
