Long weekend

It’s a long weekend here with Labour day. Had a very nice trip to Martinborough the wine region of the North island for a picnic in brilliant weather. Unfortunately we didn’t bring a camera so couldn’t take any pics. The drive over, 2 hours from Wellington, is one of the most scenic routes I’ve driven. Imagine driving through Lord of the Ring’s Middle-earth on a sunny day with clear blue skies and fresh mountain air.. pure bliss.
