Eyal, thanks for the mention. I really liked the interview btw. I haven’t tried out stocktickr yet but I’ll give it a look this weekend. If you could, talk a bit more about how you backtest and how it helps you.

Hey Babak, I back test differently for day trading and longer terms trading. Basically for day trading it’s more manual and involves gathering a lot of data and charts and then going over them visually. For longer term trading I use http://www.stockfetcher.com built in backtesting capability which is relatively basic but gives me past trade picks which I then go over to make sure things worked as I expected them to.
