I need to leave my pc early today for a meeting, I’ve got 2 positions on after 3 others were stopped out, one of them quite annoyingly to the cent before reversing back my way. Anyway, lots of movement, lots of candidates, lots of trades and.. lots of chop. The market is digesting the moves of the last couple of days and there are lots of jitters around.
Current positions risk is covered but I’ll be lucky to close in the green today. Yesterday things went as smooth as the Hong Kong Airport Express train (better than a Swiss clock) but today there were a few glitches with data not showing up for some issues, I later discovered I had a QuoteTracker settings filtering prints which blocked that stock. Anyway, it’s going to be a slow but steady climb back from last week’s blunder difficulties, can’t really call it a blunder given the blow outs we’ve seen of late with HPT and DehTrader. All the best to both of them and kudos for sharing the good as well as the bad moments in trading.
Will update the results later.
Update. Back from the meeting. All positions were closed out while I was away. I was in POT, THQI, SPWR, MBRK and QCOM. Only QCOM got any real traction but wasn’t enough to dig me out of the red, finished the day with -0.5R. Given the market action and narrow range today that’s to be expected.
