Reviewing my trades

Another crazy day in the markets, but the fat lady hasn’t sung yet so who knows.. I was taking some time to review trades from the past 10 days or so. I keep screenshots of portfolios containing my morning candidates so I brought those up and started loading symbols in charts to see what happened with the candidates I didn’t trade. I found something quite interesting, in many cases I couldn’t tell from the chart why I had decided to skip that candidate and go for other ones. The way I see this is that besides the portfolio/quotesheet information showing me the usual stuff like volume, gap, etc. and the charts themselves, I’m using something in addition to determine which candidates to go for. It’s not immediately obvious to me what that something else is. I may go for Brett’s suggestion and record my trading, at least the morning period. I’m just worried it’ll put an extra load on my machine which is already running lots of stuff during the trading day but I think I’ll take the risk to find out.
