I finally managed to sell my car. That’s a big relief as the last thing I need is to get stuck with it as my departure date is approaching. I’ve also sold my large desk and chair, 2 mountain bikes, bed and gym membership. I still have a 17″ LCD screen and a multifunction printer on sale. They’ve all been sold via trademe.co.nz which is the NZ equivalent of eBay. It’s been a very useful tool in the last week or two and it’s nice to get some cash for stuff I thought I’d have to either lug with me or just leave behind.
I didn’t trade last night but did took a couple of trades the previous night which resulted in -2R as the market recovered from its downdrift and closed up. It’s unlikely I will be doing any more trading for a while since I have about a week left, no office and lots of packing to do. I’ll just post some updates every now on how the relo is going and of course when I resume trading.

how much did u sell your mountain bikes for?
Good luck Eyal. Seems like a bit of pain you’ve had to go through, but it’ll all be worthwhile once you get your life started in China once again.
And if it isn’t worthwhile, well, you’ll move again.
I see Alan of Lemon Soju fame is off to Japan. You’re off to China. Where will I end up??
sung, I had 2 an Avanti Ridge Rider sold for 430 NZD and an old Mongoose Alta SX in so so condition sold for 200 NZD.
Sharky, yes he’s got a job in Tokyo. What’s up with the Thailand option?
I’m still being considered. They have to wait for some people to get back from a business trip to Japan, so it’ll be a couple of weeks before I know more.
