Too much play can kill

Not enough work and too much play can cause this. 50 hours may sound like a lot but it’s actually just over 2 days. At some point in my life I was not far from putting in similar hours (think games like SimCity etc.). Although I was probably less at risk since I had some oxygen around me instead of smoking particles.
How does this relate to trading? Simple, moderation is key. Taking a break and stepping away from trading periodically can go a long way towards maintaining your mental and physical health. It will not only help you avoid burn out but will also pump in new perspectives and ideas. Without clear thinking and healthy mind/body you’re actually adversely impacting your own performance. There are plenty of ways performance can suffer, don’t let it be of your own doing.
