They cry about a disproportionate response.
So if Israel would have just begun raining down 6000 rockets into gaza that were randomly aimed, everyone would be happy, right?

Yes, that will be ok and will make them start supporting Israel all of a sudden, right..

The disproportionate response is one of the most ridiculous ones.

I’ve been participating on some forums helping with hasbara. This is what I picked up and usually use to respond:

    1. Hamas military inferiority does not mean moral superiority.

    2. In the same token, having a stronger military doesn’t make you wrong.

    3. A “proportionate” response to 6,000 rockets fired at Israeli civilian town would be to fire 6,000 rockets back at Palestinian civilians. So is it OK for Israel to go ahead with doing that?

    4. Imagine a lunatic running towards your loved one wielding a knife aimed at their hearts, would you rather defend your loved one by picking up a knife so your reaction is “proportionate” and on equal grounds or if given a chance would you rather grab a shotgun and blow that lunatic to hell?

    5. Israel spends immense amounts of money to protect its civilian population by building bomb shelters and special secure rooms which lower the number of casualties. Should that be held against Israel?

    6. In WW II Nazi Germany suffered 1.5 million civilian casualties. The US, UK and Australia combined suffered 70K civilian casualties.

War is not a mathematical equation.
